Wan Qian: When I saw the script, the first thing I experienced was the strong contrast presented by Su Gengsheng. She is cold on the outside and hot on the inside. She has a thick shell like a thermos cup, but she is warm on the inside. This contrast makes it very interesting for me as an actor to interpret this role.
Nandu Entertainment: "The Story of Rose" has already been famous for its original novel. The drama version has made some adjustments to make it more suitable for the current audience. Can you share what changes have been made around "Su Gengsheng"?
Wan Qian: The drama version of Su Gengsheng is quite different from the novel itself.First of all, we live in different eras and in different places, so we must make adjustments. But more importantly, Su Gengsheng has a outlook on life that is in line with contemporary women. Her outlook on life, love, and career are more in line with the present.
Nandu Entertainment: "The Story of Rose" has a very distinct female image. Huang Yimei is bright and passionate, while Su Gengsheng is calm and rational. What do you think of them as completely different?

Wan Qian: Su Gengsheng may actually be a relatively independent image of a contemporary professional woman.But as mentioned before, she also has a sense of contrast. We must make this sense of contrast concrete. It cannot just live in the mouth, nor can we not find the root cause. It must be "threaded through threads" to "lead" all this stuff together.
