"The Lost 24th White Key" is a stage play specially commissioned by Taiwan's Guo Tuo Theater on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Southern Fujian Theater in 2022. The play adopts the form of "three-line narrative" and uses Qindao piano. A clavichord in the museum, missing the central C key, serves as a clue to connect three romances spanning three generations. The three emotional lines overlap and flow like polyphony in the melody, and together they paint a picture of love, music, and Xiamen. A heart-warming picture of intertwined emotions.

The creative team of the play has brought together outstanding lineups from mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, including Liang Zhimin, artistic director of Taiwan's Goto Theater, "Hong Kong pop music godfather" Bobida, Taiwanese writer Xu Hongwei, gold medal costume designer Lin Hengzheng, etc.; the lead actor Jia Fan and Mi Chenchen are both popular actors in mainland China. The creative team fully absorbed the essence of local culture and created this stage play with a distinctive Xiamen imprint and Xiamen logo, reflecting strong southern Fujian characteristics, focusing on innovation and down-to-earthness, and showing that Xiamen and Taiwan have the same roots, close ties, and similar cultures. historical and cultural features.

Liang Zhimin, chief editor and director of the play, said: "Mainland and Taiwanese stage plays each have their own strengths. Taiwan's performance system is diverse and flexible, and mainland actors have solid basic skills and good understanding. Everyone influences and blends with each other, constantly enriching their own theory and practice. I look forward to everyone creating more excellent works in the exchange and cooperation of Chinese stage plays and working together to develop a broader Chinese market.”
