On the evening of May 12, the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra’s season concert "The Age of Attack" was played at the Ningbo Grand Theater. The
concert was conducted by the famous conductor and percussionist Li Biao, and the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra performed together with the young pianist Du Peida.

The performance kicked off with Leonard Bernstein's "Candide Overture". This work, composed in 1956, won the audience with its cheerful melody and unpredictable rhythm. warm applause.
As the overture to the musical "Candide", this work has become one of the most frequently performed orchestral works in the 20th century with its unique charm. The biggest feature of "Candide Overture" is that it constantly changes the time signature and the rhythm changes, making the music full of vitality.

Joining Li Biao on stage tonight is the 15-year-old pianist Du Peida. In this concert, he brought Prokofiev's "technical" work "Piano Concerto No. 3". The hot beat made the audience feel the blooming power of life.
The Ningbo audience is no stranger to Du Peida. This is his second time to collaborate with the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra. In June last year, Du Peida brought the "Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor" to the Ningbo audience, which is known as the "touchstone" for pianists.
On the special occasion of Mother's Day, Du Peida presented music and performed three songs as a return performance.
Among them, Elgar's "Send of Love" is interspersed with the melody of "Only Mother is Good in the World", dedicated to all mothers to express respect. This heartwarming session allowed the audience to feel the warmth and power of music.
