In Germany, there is a group of teenagers who learn Chinese through singing, and are increasingly understanding and loving Chinese culture - they are the Bole Chinese Choir, which is currently the only Chinese choir for middle school students in Germany. On April 27, local time, the choir held its 10th anniversary concert in Essen, a city in western Germany.

Thomas Cuffin, Mayor of Essen, Germany, delivered a speech at the concert. He spoke highly of the ten-year development of the KDU Chinese Choir, believing that the choir has built a bridge of communication between the people of the two countries, further consolidated and deepened the friendship between Germany and China, and made the relationship between Germany and China closer.

Olaf Millmann, chairman of the German KDU Chinese Chorus Association, said that he will continue to use music and Chinese songs to establish connections among young people as his own responsibility, and also hopes to make more German teenagers fall in love with Chinese and have a sense of Chinese culture. If you are interested, go to China to experience a colorful, three-dimensional, comprehensive, real and lovely China.

In the past ten years, the German KDU Chinese Choir has visited China ten times in total. During its visit to China in March this year, the choir went to Wuhan, Beijing, Chengdu and other places to experience traditional culture, communicate with Chinese teenagers and jointly held two concerts. At the 10th anniversary concert on the 27th, students shared their experiences and feelings from their recent trip to China, and performed "Swallows Returning to the Nest", "Slow Voice", "So Many People in the World", "Hanyang Gate Garden", etc. Chinese songs, conveying the beauty of Chinese culture with youthful songs, won rounds of applause from nearly 300 spectators at the scene. At the end of

's performance, the choir sang the song "Towards the Clouds" in Chinese and German respectively, bringing the entire concert to a climax. The students expressed their hope to sing more beautiful Chinese songs, continue to improve their Chinese proficiency, and contribute to the promotion of cultural exchanges between Germany and China.

It is reported that the German KDU Chinese Choir is a non-profit public welfare organization that carries out "sing and learn Chinese" activities for German teenagers. In the past ten years, it has been invited to perform at important diplomatic occasions between China and Germany many times. The students of the choir use songs as matchmakers and make friends through songs, constantly deepening their understanding of China, and using singing as a link to encourage more young people to join the ranks of learning Chinese, constantly injecting new impetus into Sino-German cultural exchanges.
