On April 16, the first round of the semi-finals of the 2024 Jiading District "Hundred Names" Selection Competition and the First New Era Civilized Practice National Publicity Contest was held at the Zhenxin Street Party and Mass Service Center. Since the launch of the
competition on February 1, through extensive online publicity and offline active launch, it has attracted 693 (groups) of contestants to actively sign up and participate enthusiastically, covering teachers, students, community workers, farmers, and "three new" "Party members, veterans, city builders, agency workers, firefighters, retirees and other groups in the field. A total of 26 preliminaries were organized by various streets and towns, Dakou committees and bureaus and workers, youth and women in the district. After the audition, 89 contestants (groups) finally stood out and advanced to the district-level semi-finals. A total of 21 outstanding players (groups) from Malu Town, Nanxiang Town, Zhenxin Street, District Education Bureau, District State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and District Federation of Trade Unions participated in this semi-final.
