On the afternoon of April 18, the person in charge of the Chemistry Department of Zhejiang University told the New Yellow River reporter that they had checked and found that this person was not from the Chemistry Department of Zhejiang University. A reporter's inquiry on the 18th found that relevant social platforms had banned the account of "Professor Deuterium".
According to relevant information forwarded and screenshots by netizens, on April 9, "Professor Deuterium" made extreme remarks on multiple social platforms. Once the remarks were released, they were criticized and reported by many netizens. Netizens commented after his remarks: "Don't destroy my admiration for intellectuals", "What kind of twisted psychology is this to say such things", "Can such a professor really teach students well", "This is extremely terrifying" The violent remarks came from a university professor."
"Professor Deuterium"'s relevant information on social platforms shows that he is suspected to be a professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Chemistry at Zhejiang University. The reporter inquired about other online screenshots of "Professor Deuterium" and found that "Professor Deuterium" had often commented on some hot news events before. For example, in June 2023, he published an article expressing dissatisfaction with Sichuan University and said that it was sent by Sichuan cooperative companies. Professor Deuterium was asked to check the resume. Professor Deuterium resolutely eliminated the master's degree from Sichuan University and selected a master's degree from a coastal school with Africa. Many of "Professor Deuterium's" remarks have previously caused considerable controversy on the Internet. Many self-media bloggers also wrote about his identity as "PhD supervisor of Zhejiang University, Professor Deuterium" when posting.
