Beijing News (Reporter Zhou Huixiaowan) On April 15, the movie "The Future Is Long", produced by Zhang Xinyi and directed by Guo Ke, is scheduled to be released on June 15. This is director Guo Ke's first work after the documentary film " Twenty-Two ". Starting from family ties, the film explores important life issues such as aging and death, and touches on the field of "hospice care" (hospice care) based on preliminary research.

Previously, director Guo Ke received a lot of attention with his work "Twenty-Two". The new work "All Days Are Long" is composed of feature films and documentaries, blending fiction and reality. The film begins with the plot of the grandfather who is about to pass away, telling the story of the changes in the family in the five years before and after the loss of their loved ones. At the same time, the camera moved to the other side of the ocean, recording the journey of Liu Xiaotian, a music therapist born in the 1990s, who used music and companionship to heal the dying. The film records Xiaotian's touching singing voice and pairs of hands lying together in front of the hospital bed. It is precisely because of her original intention of loving that she can use music to heal people who are approaching the end of their lives one after another. At the end of the film, there are swaying prayer flags and rolling snow-capped mountains. This scene, combined with the special interactive part of the film, makes the audience close their eyes and reflect on the connotation conveyed by the film. Can we and our old friends have "a long and prosperous future"? I believe the answer will emerge in everyone's mind. What the film wants to express is to tell thousands of "you" in front of the screen: There is no standard answer in life, we can never predict loss, and cherishing the present is always the best solution.
