On the evening of April 13, the magic children's drama "I Am Nezha", a 2023 Communication and Promotion Funding Project of the Nanjing Art Fund, was performed for the first time at the Jinhe Grand Theater in Huai'an City, and was well received by children.
"I am Nezha" is produced by Nanjing Performing Arts Group and co-produced by Nanjing Acrobatic Troupe and Beijing Jinling Magic World Culture and Media Group. The play won the Drama Award, Best Screenplay Award, Best Director Award, and Best Stage Design Award in the Small Theater Unit (Second Session) of the Jiangsu Zijin Culture and Art Festival.
"I am Nezha" is an adaptation based on the traditional "Legend of Nezha" IP. The story starts with Luo Tong, a primary school student who wants to be Nezha. He travels to the fantasy world of the deep sea and meets the White Deer in the Dragon Palace of the East China Sea. Three friends, Jiaojiao and Quanquan, worked together to defeat Ao Bing. This highly creative and magical audio-visual feast brings children an unparalleled novel experience through wonderful stage performances and gorgeous costumes.
"I Am Nezha" explores and actively innovates on the stage of children's dramas, integrating thrilling large-scale magic projects such as "Human Transformation", "Escape from the Box", "Levitation" and "Hovering in the Air", Make the stage effect more fascinating. The play also has multiple audience interactive plots, which are dedicated to giving young audiences an excellent immersive viewing experience and allowing them to more easily feel the positive atmosphere of justice, bravery, and friendship.
As a magic children's drama, "magic" is naturally the highlight of this drama. The performance team of this drama comes from the Nanjing Acrobatic Troupe. The Nanjing Acrobatic Troupe won the China Acrobatic "Gold Medal" in 2017, 2021 and 2022. "Chrysanthemum Award", the actor has excellent skills, and is quite skillful and natural in both magic and acrobatics. Magic tricks such as "Human Transformation", "Escape from the Box" and "Levitation" were dazzling, and acrobatic performances such as "Ring", "Water Star" and "Rolling Ring" won applause from the audience.
