The opera "Love between Mountains and Seas" is adapted from the popular TV series of the same name in 2021. It is jointly created by composer Meng Weidong, screenwriter Yi Ming, director Wang Xiaodian and other first-line artists, and will premiere in 2022. The script creation of the opera "Mountains and Seas" is based on the TV series and fully integrates the artistic characteristics of the opera. In the original drama, there are impressive characters such as the enthusiastic young cadre Ma Defu, the smart and stubborn rural girl Li Shuihua, the witty poverty alleviation cadre Chen Jinshan, and the affectionate Debao.
