On the evening of February 25, Huang Wenhui came to the material room of the work area, skillfully counted the machine tools needed for the night's work, and inspected each universal flaw detector and rail flaw detector before operation. At this time, there are still 3 hours left for the skylight operation.
Huang Wenhui is a flaw detector in the Changsha South Inspection and Monitoring Workshop of the Changsha High-Speed Railway Works Section, and is also an old party member with 40 years of party experience. This year is Huang Wenhui's 40th year working in the railway. In more than two months, he will retire honorably.
When asked what does 40 years of persistence rely on? Huang Wenhui replied firmly: "Because of love!" From the Hengyang Public Works Section to the current Changsha High-speed Railway Works Section, from the initial jgt-2 electronic tube flaw detector to today's universal digital flaw detector, only waveforms can be seen on the initial instrument. The picture can now accurately display the depth and width of rail damage. He was one of the first batch of "flaw detectors" in the high-speed rail profession, and he was also a witness and participant in the rapid development of China's high-speed rail. Now, in the last year of his career, Huang remains on the front line of Spring Festival transportation as always, quietly contributing to the safe transportation of high-speed rail.
Probe, probe wire, steel ruler, mirror, engine oil, universal flaw detector and Taiwan rail flaw detector. The instrument is like a gun on the battlefield. If the gun is in poor condition, let alone kill the enemy. If the instrument is in poor condition, leakage may occur. Inspection must be carried out before operation.
High-speed trains shuttle during the day, and line flaw detection operations can only be carried out at night. The recent low-temperature and freezing rain weather in Hunan has brought huge challenges to Huang Wenhui and his colleagues.
When he came to a weld, Lao Huang immediately squatted down and took out a steel brush, rag, oil drum, mirror, universal flaw detector and other tools from the tool bag, polished off the iron filings and dust on the surface of the rail, and lay down on the rail. Use a small mirror against the rail chin, rail bottom, rail waist and other parts to carefully check the appearance of the weld. After confirming that there is no damage on the surface, apply a layer of engine oil to the rail as a coupling agent between the probe and the rail, and prepare to start flaw detection with a universal flaw detector. Three fingers held the probe and slid it back and forth on the rail. A pair of "eagle eyes" stared intently at the instrument screen to observe the changes in the ripples. When you hear the alarm sound of the instrument, stop at the alarm point and scan again to find out the cause of the alarm.
The angle between the probe and the rail and the speed of the probe all affect the results of the wave output. You must be patient during the inspection and do not rush. At the same time, it is necessary to change the use of probes to ensure that every angle is detected. In the past 40 years, he has inspected more than 23,000 kilometers of rails, inspected more than 10,000 rail welds, and found more than 100 rail damages. There has never been a misjudgment or missed inspection. Huang Wenhui's responsible attitude towards work has also deeply infected the young people around him.
