1905 Movie Network News Recently, the film "Drive Away" directed by Ethan Coen, one of the Coen brothers, released a new trailer. A story about two women on the road was told in full. The coincidences and black humor in the story are full of the Coen brothers' texture.

In the trailer's subtitles, "from the Coen brothers" was playfully rewritten as "from one of the Coen brothers". The film follows free-spirited, maverick Jamie, who laments another breakup with his girlfriend, while her demure best friend Marianne, desperate to relax, embarks on an impromptu trip to Tallahassee in search of a new beginning. On the road trip, things start to go wrong when they encounter a group of incompetent criminals.

It was not Ethan Coen’s temporary decision to make this film. This script was written more than ten years ago, but there has never been a chance to film it. According to people familiar with the matter, the story of the film is similar to a mashup of "One Flew Over the Valley" and "The Vixen." In the plan that year, the film was to be directed by female director Allison Anders. But years later, Ethan Coen decided to direct it himself.

As for the actors, Margaret Qualley, Geraldine Viswanathan, Beanie Feldstein, Pedro Pascal, Colman Domingo, Bill Camp, and Matt Damon star. Cohen wrote the script and produces with his wife, Tricia Cooke. The film will be released in North America on February 23.
