On January 17, a seminar on the TV series "Flowers" co-sponsored by the China Television Arts Committee and the China Television Artists Association was held in Beijing.
Jin Yucheng, the original author of the play, talked about his creative experience and shared the inspirational collision with the director and screenwriter during the creative process. Qin Wen, the screenwriter of this play, shared how she "awakened step by step" the original novel during the adaptation process. She said that pre-play research was extensive and meticulous, and this experience will inspire her future creations. Hu Ge, who plays "Abao" in this drama, Ma Yili, who plays "Lingzi" in this drama, Tang Yan, who plays "Wang Mingzhu" in this drama, and Xin Zhilei, who plays "Li Li" in this drama, shared their experiences during filming details and feelings, describing the encouragement and help received from the director and the older generation of actors. At the same time, he thanked the times for providing valuable creative conditions, and expressed his hope to spread positive energy through the characters and inspire the audience.
Zhong Chengxiang, librarian of the Central Research Institute of Literature and History and a famous literary critic, Li Jingsheng, vice president of the China Federation of Radio and Television Social Organizations, Li Fang, deputy editor-in-chief of the Overseas Edition of the People's Daily, Wang Yichuan, vice chairman of the Chinese Literary Critics Association, China Literary Review Yin Hong, Vice Chairman of the National Association of Chinese Artists and Professor of Tsinghua University, Mao Jian, Professor and Writer of East China Normal University, Lu Fan, Director of the Audio and Video Office of Peking University Integrated Media Center and Deputy Director of Peking University Television Research Center, affirmed the unique artistic expression of the play and said that The drama not only reflects the legendary life stories of the era of reform and opening up, but also expresses the unique Shanghai culture. It also conducts in-depth discussions around the room for improvement of the drama, how literature and film and television dramas can achieve and complement each other, and how regional TV dramas can break through the circle and develop.
