On January 12, a seminar on the newly scripted Hunan opera "Looking for Ouyang Hai" in Guiyang County, Chenzhou was held at the Hunan Provincial Art Research Institute. The play focuses on the process of Ouyang Hai, a martyr from Guiyang, from his sacrifice to being named a martyr, showing Ouyang Hai's ordinary and great life.
Hunan opera "Looking for Ouyang Hai" is one of the ten key projects of the Guiyang County Red Gene Inheritance Project in 2022. It is written by Gong Xiaoxiong, a national first-level screenwriter and director of Shanghai Huai Theater, and directed by first-level director He Yiguang and first-level actor Wang Yangjuan , created and arranged by the Guiyang County Hunan Opera Protection and Inheritance Center, is based on the advanced deeds of 100 people who have "touched China" since the founding of New China and "the most beautiful struggler of New China" Ouyang Hai, aiming to highlight the local humanistic history and traditional culture of Guiyang , to create Guiyang’s “Millennium Opera” historical and cultural brand.
