This competition handles the unification of traditional classic nursery rhymes and original creations in a more harmonious and appropriate manner, and can reflect the hometown and world in the eyes of children in the new era, truly expressing innocence and childlike interest, such as "The Smell of Tea" , using the form of fairy tales to reflect rural revitalization, is not only lofty in intention, but also lively, cute, lively and interesting.

Deng Xiaojing (national second-level actor, Chinese folk dance grade examiner)

With the development of the "Reading Songs" activity, I saw that kindergartens, primary and secondary schools attach great importance to the inheritance of this ancient language. Through poetry, recital, taikou and other forms, children can imprint the Hokkien language in their minds and express it fluently. Among the participating programs, the one that impressed me the most was a drum-talking program, which talked about civilized themes, with clear pronunciation of Hokkien, a clear theme of the performance, and smart expressions. After listening to this, I thought to myself that the families of these two children must always communicate in Hokkien. It is very rare for the children to express Hokkien so fluently in the show.

Gao Yanzhen (Music Teaching and Researcher of Xiamen Academy of Educational Sciences)

This year's "Reading Songs" competition has inherited the excellent southern Fujian culture through activities and improved students' artistic accomplishment and cultural identity. The programs shortlisted for this year's finals, whether they are for the preschool group or the primary and secondary school groups, have students with clear enunciation, good language skills, and strong stage performance. The overall presentation presents the beauty of integrated culture with a sense of stage and picture. The overall design embodies the three characteristics of innovative content, innovative presentation and innovative creation.

Yan Shaofen (Chairman of the Quanzhou Art School Union)

came to Xiamen for the first time to participate in the "Reading Songs" competition. It was a profound experience and a lot of benefits. It was a rare opportunity for learning and exchange. After watching the children's competition, I felt that the Hokkien dialects of Xiamen and Quanzhou have the same origin, but also have subtle differences. For example, there are certain differences in accents and expressions. "Dushu Song" is performed through rap, song and dance, melodrama, etc. It shows that Quanzhou’s southern Fujian nursery rhymes pay more attention to the language and content of the nursery rhymes, which exactly reflects the richness and diversity of southern Fujian culture. It is gratifying to see the children learning and applying the Minnan dialect in their own way, and to see the protection and inheritance of the Minnan culture in the children. The Minnan culture has a long history and is everlasting.
