New Year’s Eve Fireworks and Music Display hosted by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB)” "New Year, New Legend" ended successfully early this morning, bidding farewell to 2023 and welcoming 2024 with fireworks and laughter. The largest New Year's Eve fireworks display in history lasts for 12 minutes, focusing on the changing of the four seasons, bringing surprises to citizens and tourists.
As we enter 2024, the new year begins with the brightest fireworks. The sky above Victoria Harbor ushered in the largest fireworks display in history at 0:00. The Hong Kong Tourism Board held the longest ever "Hong Kong New Year's Eve Countdown" fireworks display. The 12-minute long event turned the night sky of Victoria Harbor into " "Giant Canvas", the area covered by the fireworks is as wide as 1,300 meters, which is also the widest ever. People from Central to North Point can enjoy the fireworks. In addition, three buildings on Hong Kong Island, Harbor Center, Harcourt Building, and Admiralty Yangtze River Center, took turns to release four-color "Wish Shooting Star" fireworks from the roof every 15 minutes after 11 o'clock last night, representing sweetness, sweetness, Health, happiness and abundance.
