Xicheng District is also the only area in the city with district-owned professional art performance groups. Its performance box office accounts for about 40% of the city's performance, and the performing arts market is booming.
Jin Zhen, director of Xicheng District Culture and Tourism Bureau, said that Xicheng District will continue to increase efforts to cultivate new performing arts spaces, continue to improve new performing arts space service mechanisms, study and explore relevant support policies, launch more new performing arts spaces, and attract more high-quality performing arts companies Settling in, relying on the rich cultural tourism resources in the jurisdiction, based on new space and new experience, with a high starting point and high standards, we will create a sustainable new performing arts space that is rich in Xicheng's cultural characteristics and displays Xicheng's humanistic temperament.
