A theme reflecting the history of young Mao Zedong’s study tour was put on the screen for the first time
The revolutionary historical film “Departure” premiered
Hunan Daily reported on December 26 (all media reporter Li Meihua, correspondent Zou Guodong) A revolutionary historical film that tells the story of young Mao Zedong’s study tour The premiere ceremony of "Departure" was held today in Loudi City.
"Departure" launched by Xiaoxiang Film Group mainly tells the story of Mao Zedong and his friend Xiao Zisheng who traveled thousands of miles, studied in five counties, and conducted research in 1917. Loudi was the first stop for young Mao Zedong’s long-distance study tour. He came to Loudi twice to conduct study tours. The first time was in 1916, when Mao Zedong came to Dongchong Village, Wanbao Town, Louxing District, and stayed at the home of his classmate Liu Guosi; the second time was in 1917, when Mao Zedong and Xiao Zisheng entered Lianyuan from Ningxiang, passing through Caihua and Leiming in Qixing Street Town. Cave, Baiyao, Ganxi and Chatingao, Liangshuijing and Leshan Pavilion in Fukou Town lasted three days and two nights and traveled more than 60 miles.
The creative team of "Departure" traveled to five counties and cities, Changsha, Yiyang, Ningxiang, Yuanjiang, and Anhua, and concentrated on filming for 30 days, using audio-visual art to restore the history of young Mao Zedong's study tour.
