Ferrari was the first to announce the release date of the 2024 racing car, and will unveil the new racing car with chassis code 676 on February 13.

Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur announced the date at a traditional Christmas media conference in Maranello.

"The launch will be on February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day, and the rest will be seen on the 13th. Why? Because we will have one more day (before pre-season testing in Bahrain)," joked the Frenchman.

"No, time is tight, to be more serious. The pre-season testing date is earlier (than 2023) so it's quite challenging to put everything together. That means we don't have a choice and I think some of the other teams will be on the 14th release, but it will be challenging to get everything ready for Bahrain."

Vassell spent his first season at Ferrari. When Prancing Horse released the SF-23 racing car at the beginning of this year, it hoped to challenge the world championship. However, the 2023 season was completely dominated by Red Bull, winning 21 of the 22 games. However, in Singapore, where Red Bull was "overturned in the gutter", Ferrari won by Carlos Sainz over McLaren and Mercedes, preventing Red Bull from achieving an unprecedented complete victory in the season. In fact, throughout the second half of the season, Ferrari's performance rebounded, but it still lost by 3 points in the battle for second place with Mercedes.

Regarding the goal for 2024, Vassell said that the team will not make any promises this time, but hopes to have good performance when the new season starts in March.

No other teams have announced plans for a 2024 car launch. It is understood that most teams may release the unveiling version of the car or car livery in early February, including the Sauber team, which has just confirmed its new name for the next two years.
