In order to further promote the inheritance and development of Mount Tai culture, the large-scale documentary "Mount Tai" jointly planned and produced by the Tai'an Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Tai'an Municipal People's Government and Shandong Radio and Television Station will be broadcast on Shandong Satellite TV from January 1 to January 3, 2023. It premieres at 19:30, and two episodes are continuously broadcast every night.
The documentary starts from the stories of contemporary Chinese people, selects node and symbolic events in the process of historical development and the inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture, and presents them in a story-like manner. The program is divided into six episodes: "The Origin of Rivers and Mountains", "If You Climb to Nature", "With Country Xianning", "Ascending Highness, You Must Be Yourself", "Being Great", and "Guotai Minan". The titles are all taken from the Taishan stone carvings. Different dimensions such as folklore, culture, philosophy, and aesthetics provide multi-level and comprehensive interpretations of Mount Tai, further highlighting the unique value of Mount Tai, a cultural carrier with Chinese characteristics, embodying Chinese spirit, and containing Chinese wisdom. It is an excellent opportunity to show the story of Tai'an and show the image of Shandong. It has opened a spiritual and cultural window for the world to better know and understand China.
The film was selected into the State Administration of Radio Film and Television's "14th Five-Year Plan" documentary key topic selection plan, and was selected into the State Administration of Radio Film and Television's "Recording the New Era" boutique project. The broadcast time of the large-scale documentary "Mount Tai Tai": January 1, 2023 (Sunday), the first episode "Heshan Yuanmai" and the second episode "Ruodeng Natural" will be broadcast at 19:30. On January 2, 2023 (Monday), at 19:30, the third episode "You Must Be Yourself" and the fourth episode "And the Country Xianning" will be broadcast.
