CBS CBS reports, "If we do this, here's my promise to you and the American people: The first bill I'll bring to Congress will be to amend Roe v. Wayne Germany case,” Mr. Biden said in a speech at the Democratic National Committee at Howard’s heavily Democratic theater in Washington, D.C. “When Congress passes the bill, I’m going to sign it in January, and it’s the first time the land law has been passed by roy 50 years after that."

But getting enough Democratic support in Congress is a big hurdle. While the president currently has majorities in both chambers of the Capitol , he lacks the 60 votes the Senate needs to pass legislation. On Tuesday, Mr. Biden said he was missing a "minority" of Democratic votes in the Senate. That could become more difficult after the midterms, when no major pollster currently predicts Democrats will maintain control of the House.
