On October 17th, according to the client of China Youth Daily, this morning, at the press conference of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Zhao Chenxin, a representative of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that the economic growth rate of my country's central and western regions is growing. It has been higher than the eastern region for many years in a row, and the relative gap in regional development continues to narrow.
Zhao Chenxin said that the proportion of GDP in the central and western regions of the country has increased from 21.3% and 19.6% in 2012 to 22% and 21.1% in 2021. The economic development of the Northeast region has gradually stabilized, and structural adjustment is steadily advancing. In recent years, China's three northeastern provinces have accounted for more than 1/5 of the country's grain output, 1/4 of the country's total commercial grain, and about 1/3 of the grain export volume, making it a more consolidated position as my country's largest granary.
