In September 2022, the Reporting Center of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China guided the cybersecurity and informatization reporting departments at all levels across the country and major website platforms to accept 15.188 million reports, a decrease of 5.2% month-on-month and 0.4% year-on-year. Among them, 589,000 reports were received by the Reporting Center of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, a decrease of 30.1% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 31.1%; 762,000 reports were received by the local network information reporting departments, a month-on-month decrease of 7.7% and a year-on-year decrease of 29.0%; major national website platforms 13.837 million reports were accepted, down 3.6% month-on-month and up 0.8% year-on-year.
