"Braveheart 2" is not the kind of legendary story we often shoot before. The protagonist Tong Jiaru is a low-level intellectual. He is virtuous but downhearted, ambitious but has nowhere to show, longing for love but failing in his marriage... This character ignited my creative desire.
For the sake of Tong Jiaru, I deliberately let myself settle down, and I also made myself a lot older in appearance. He is a powerless scholar who came to Shanghai from his hometown, and the wife he married was not as good as he wanted. This buddy will definitely not be able to sleep at night.
The audience can see that his hair is often messy, and there is a lot of gray hair, and he always wears the same long shirt and a pair of stereotyped round glasses. You think, everyone has today and no tomorrow, how can he have a bright and beautiful appearance?
This drama has been backlogged for a long time, and it has not been broadcast on TV. The broadcast effect is much inferior to the first one. I'm a little lost myself, but I feel that every play has its own destiny. I try my best to finish it and leave the rest to the audience.
