On the same day, Teacher Song Yan, Shi Shengjie's widow, posted a message on her social platform, offering sacrifice to her husband: "September 28, 2018. Four years! Today is four years, one thousand four hundred and sixty days since you left. Is heaven okay? Everything is safe? I miss you every day..."

Shi Shengjie was born in Tianjin in April 1953. At the age of 6, he followed his parents Shi Shiyuan and Gao Xiuqin, who were cross talk actors, to Harbin with his family. When he was 8 years old, he became a teacher of Zhu Xiangchen , a famous cross talk writer. In 1972, Zhu Xiangchen died, and 12 years later, he became a disciple of Mr. Hou Baolin, a master of cross talk, as a teacher.
Shi Shengjie participated in four CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 1989, 1997, 1998 and 2002. His representative works of cross talk mainly include "Mayor Hao", "Heart and Heart", "Don't Be Like This Girl", "I Want to Make Up Lessons", "Between Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law", "Drunken Song", "The Adventure of a Little Shoemaker", "Mr. Of You", "Adventures in Love", "Ode to the Horse in the Year of the Horse" and so on. Among them, "Mayor Hao" won the first prize of the National Quyi Tuning Performance, "Heart and Heart" won the first prize of the National Cross Talk New Work Performance Competition, and "Don't Be Like This Girl" won the first prize of the Heilongjiang Provincial Quyi Performance Competition.
Shi Shengjie took root in Heilongjiang all his life, and made outstanding contributions to the development of cross talk art outside Beijing and Tianjin, as well as the development of Northeast folk art. In fact, Shi Shengjie had the opportunity to go to Beijing, but because of the words of Master Hou Baolin that he hoped that I would go to the Northeast in the future, there would be one of my students there, so he stayed.
Shi Shengjie has served as the director of the Cross Talk Art Committee of the China Quyi Artists Association, the consultant of the Heilongjiang Quyi Artists Association, and the honorary chairman of the Harbin Quyi Artists Association. In 1985, he was named one of the top ten comedians. However, it is regrettable that Shi Shengjie was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in August 2017. Although he received active treatment, he was ultimately unable to return to heaven. He passed away on September 28, 2018, and slept forever in the black land of Heilongjiang.
Shi Shengjie's wife Song Yan used to be an editor of the Heilongjiang Provincial Art Research Institute and a national first-class actor. They met and fell in love in 1976 when they were working in the quyi team of the Longjiang Theater in Heilongjiang Province. In June 1981, a pair of Bi people entered the marriage hall.
Song Yan is definitely a good wife. After 37 years of marriage, the couple were inseparable and loving each other; when her husband fell ill, she almost followed her closely and took care of her; after her husband passed away, she was devastated, and she has been unable to get out of the pain vortex of losing her lover for several years. Her social platform has become a dedicated "position" to pay tribute to her husband. Almost all festivals such as her husband's birthday, death day, Qingming Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival , Spring Festival and so on, she wrote to her husband.
Like the Mid-Autumn Festival that just passed, Song Yan wrote: "Looking up to the east, the autumn wind and drizzle are blowing my face. The clouds are dark and silent, and the hearts of foreign countries meet each other. Mid-Autumn Festival On the reunion day, you and I will share the moon together. I hope the moon in heaven is bright, peaceful and auspicious. Four years later, I wish you a healthy Mid-Autumn Festival!"
Why does Song Yan "look east"? It turned out that the couple's only daughter, Shi Yiwen, had already settled in the United States. When Shi Shengjie was there, the couple went to reunite with their daughter's family almost every year. Now, Song Yan came to the United States alone, but because of the epidemic, it was not easyback home.
CCTV Chinese International Channel " Chinese Literature and Art " once broadcast the special program "Cross Talk Performing Artist Shi Shengjie" in the "Salute to the Classics" column on the evening of July 22, 2018. The program highly praised Shi Shengjie. Among them, the tribute words given to him are:

In the blog post, Song Yan wrote: "This year we are in a foreign country due to the epidemic and we cannot go back, and our hearts are full of regrets. Although I can’t come in person this year, I believe that you and our hearts are connected. Looking to the east, I hope you have a good autumn and no disasters there! Shi Shengjie has dozens of disciples and adopted sons, such as Liu Tong, Zou Dejiang, Wang Min, Wang Gang, Ruan Hang, Hou Jun, Li Jing, Changyuan etc.; adopted sons such as Chen Hanbai , Gao Xiaopan , Miao Fu , Wu Nan and so on.
