Paramount to Create New 'Cloverfield File' Movie

Paramount Pictures is working on a new "Cloverfield File" movie.

According to Variety, the sci-fi anthology series is getting another film, directed by Babak Anvari, director of the Wounds (2019) film, and Hessian director Joe Barton. Producers include J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella and Jon Cohen.

"The Cloverfield File" is a 2008 American pseudo-documentary monster horror film about a group of friends struggling to survive in a city attacked by giant monsters. "Cloverfield" was originally the film's development code, and was later used directly as the film's title. The film was first revealed to the public in the pre- Transformers trailer, and distribution company Paramount Pictures launched a viral campaign for the film.

2016 director Dan Trachtenberg ("Predator: Prey") directed " 10 Cloverfield Lane ". This isn't a direct sequel, but a whole new story about Michelle. Michelle is a young woman who wakes up in an underground bunker after a car accident and is told by two men that an unknown event has made the outside world uninhabitable.
