Recently, the comprehensive transportation hub project of Guangxi Nanning International Airport, which has attracted much attention from the public, has entered the final stage of construction, and is undergoing decoration, greening, and joint commissioning and testing of high-speed rail.
The reporter saw at the construction site that the subway area is adjacent to the high-speed rail area, and upwards is the space for interchange between high-speed rail, subway and civil aviation. In the future, passengers can transfer to high-speed rail, subway and civil aviation here.
Guangxi Nanning International Airport Comprehensive Transportation Hub Project is the first comprehensive transportation hub in Guangxi that integrates various transportation modes such as civil aviation, high-speed rail, subway and expressway, filling the gap of "air-rail combined transportation" in our district. The project is expected to achieve overall completion acceptance this year.
Mo Fan, chief engineer of the Nanning International Airport Comprehensive Transportation Hub Project of China Construction Eighth Bureau, said: "After this project is completed, it will take only half an hour's drive for citizens to travel from Nanning to Chongzuo, and from downtown Nanning to the airport. The 12-minute drive has greatly improved the convenience for citizens to travel.”
