"I said so much, but I didn't say anything, just like a lot of things happened in the past year, but nothing happened. ."

In the latest season of " Talk Show Conference ", Hulan used this sentence as the conclusion of a performance.

This is really impressive. I believe that I am not the only one who feels this way. I carefully floated a line on the barrage:

"Connotation! Can this be said?" Thin, at this moment when the donkey who pulls the mill will be called "pretentious and ignorant" for a few breaths, such an expression has a hint of bravery.

Mr. Luo Xiang said, "Among all the virtues of human beings, bravery is the most scarce." .

So far, all the jokes about the epidemic in "Talk Show Conference" have been disappointingly shallow.

Almost all of the elaboration on the epidemic and Shanghai's lockdown revolves around boring but safe topics such as food, cooking and boredom at home.

post-mortems are dizzying, I think everyone has overlooked one thing:

, what happened to Shanghai people in those two long months.

It is said that the essence of talk shows is actually offensive, and the undertone of "offensive" is of course not reckless, but brave. How can you naively expect "brave" on a variety show?

Yang Li satirized a few men, and was chased and scolded by a group of people for 2 years. The most exciting sports show of the last season, the second half of the episode is still missing, um, maybe because of "technical reasons".

Li Dan and a group of talk show actors who have experienced Shanghai's lockdown must know what the public expects. Regarding the epidemic and the lockdown, we have experienced so many absurd, magical and ridiculous scenes together.

But if the show is going to go on, you have to take the initiative to pull out the thorns on your body, turning a hedgehog into a harmless rabbit.

"History is a fog." Isn't the history of

a clear picture? In other words, history is a clear but broken picture.

But the older you get, the more you read, the easier it is for a person to feel lost in the face of history.

The more you pay attention to the lines of the picture scroll of history, the more blurred the picture in front of you, the clear lines on the picture scroll begin to show blurred traces - which means that it may have been deliberately erased, damaged, smear.

I read the book What is Populism ? by Miller , did revisit the word "people".

Populists often claim that they are "representing the will of the people" and that their advocates are the "real people" who are kind, wise, and always upright. Anyone who disagrees with and opposes their views will be easily labelled "enemy of the people" by populists.

So when we talk about the "people", in many contexts, and the populist term "the people", often means two creatures. The same goes for

history.

"I feel like I'm witnessing history."

"An era is over, and at this moment I clearly feel the passage of history." superior.

"We should remember this history!" However, is the history in his mouth, and the history you and I feel, really the same history?

I'm getting more and more confused.

People often say that forgetting history is betrayal.

But the question is, what kind of history should be remembered?

Orwell wrote in "1984":

"Whoever masters the past masters the future; whoever masters the present masters the past." Perspective perceptions, in many cases, these perceptions are even completely contradictory.

And paradoxically, each camp insists that its own account of history is the correct and only truth.

For example, a current example is the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war.

Beyond the battlefield, beyond the ruined homes and bloodied corpses, has two opposite mirrors of the ongoing war:

For Ukraine The displaced civilians and her supporters In a word, this is an undisputed, unjust war of aggression, the Russians are evil aggressors, butchers and devils.

The brave and fearless Ukrainian soldiers, with the support of the heroic Ukrainian people, are fighting back and defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity to the death.

But the above statement, for the Russians and their supporters, is completely baseless slander by the Ukrainian side.

In the eyes of the Russians, this military operation is a last resort, a just, in order to protect the interests of Russia, and even to protect and rescue the people of Udong in the depths of water and fire. Self-defense counterattack.

It is conceivable that many years later, when looking back on this history and talking about this war, the Russians and Ukrainians will definitely have completely opposite historical definitions of it.

In fact, in history, it is almost a norm for the warring parties to express diametrically opposite the nature of the war in the same war.

The Third Reich under the leadership of Hitler as evil as , when launching wars of aggression and genocide, its awareness of the army and the people is also in the "name of justice".

The two countries are at war, and each country will firmly believe that it is on the defensive, and it is tit-for-tat after it can't bear it. The two social classes that criticize each other often claim that they stand in the public interest at the same time.

So Luo Xin teacher wrote:

"The historical facts that we can know are just screened by various forces, the surviving fragments, and the huge amount of historical facts have all been excluded by the shield box. It's beyond the memory bank."

People are indeed good at forgetting animals.

Remembering and forgetting are the pen and ink that shape memory. "The key to understanding memory is to understand forgetting." .

What is particularly noteworthy and vigilant about is the kind of "active forgetting and amnesia", that is, forgetting that actively and consciously cuts off the connection with the past for a certain purpose. "Collective amnesia" like

sounds inconceivable. How can millions, or even tens of millions of people forget collectively? But in a certain dimension, this is the norm in history.

For example, After World War II , the Austrians collectively and deliberately forget about history. After World War II, the Nazis became the object of a worldwide crusade, and in the decades following the war, Austrians successfully portrayed themselves as the Nazis' primary victims.

After an active and massive "collective amnesia", the Austrians firmly believe that they are a happy, gentle, peace-loving people who have never thought of being in the company of the Nazis.

But the truth is that many of the most fanatical Nazis in history, including Hitler himself, were Austrian people. During World War II, many Austrians took the initiative to cooperate with the Nazis in persecuting and slaughtering Jews. Austrians even cheered the arrival of the Nazis on the streets of Vienna, the capital.

And all of this was deliberately forgotten by the "moderate" Austrians after the war.

Similar things, the Chinese are more familiar with, is the Japanese people's treatment of forgetting and tampering with history.

In the exhibition narrative of the infamous Yasukuni Shrine Yusakukan, Japan goes from aggressor to "victim" of the Pacific War.

And those war criminals who committed numerous crimes in East Asian countries and had blood on their hands became "heroes" who swear allegiance to the emperor and sacrifice their lives for the interests of Japan.

Under this kind of active forgetting and tampering, Japan's various acts of aggression in World War II were described as "jihad" of national self-defense, and even as the guardian and liberator of East Asia, it drove away the Western powers that were trying to colonize .

deliberately forgetting and tampering with history are both abuses of history.

The so-called abuse of history is the power to create a favorable or even completely false history in order to justify the wrong treatment of others.

History is a rut into the future that will undoubtedly influence our choices of future paths.

"We need to know that the more single, pure and clear history is, the more dangerous it is, and the more will be hidden, rewritten and forgotten." Claims, and those who claim to have discovered the truth once and for all.”

Recently, I have recommended a small book to many of my friends, The Use and Abuse of History by Margaret MacMillan. If you are a person who loves to read, then in addition to this, I recommend another small book, " The Rebel " by Peking University Luo Xin teacher.

These two books are very helpful to a person who is "experiencing history" and how to understand the word "history" in the present.

You should realize that, in many cases, the history we face has a clear function, a clear direction, and a secret choice of consciousness.

The history of

is so powerful that it has been carefully selected and packaged with all kinds of power and all means.

So history is of course a "powerful weapon" that, to a certain extent, shapes the values of a group of people, and even the memories, fears, aspirations and love and hatred of a nation.

We are the witnesses of history, and at the same time, we are also the forgetters of history.

However, in the face of those historical fragments that have been carefully removed, altered and actively forgotten, we should not be reconciled to be a forgetter.

Of course, in the current environment, It takes great courage to express and record publicly, and any expression that goes against the default picture in the reader's mind will be regarded as a "conspiracy" with ulterior motives.

But I think you can always find your own way to remember it all. Private narration (private history) is not only an important filler for historical memory, it is itself an integral part of historical memory.

"A lot has happened over the years, but nothing has happened."

This is a sad nihilistic expression that should be seen as a wake-up call, not a summary of a particular history.

History is not just a mirror, it is more important to realize that history is a polygonal prism, which has countless cross-sections and reflects a colorful spectrum.

documented it all.

Remember all this.

Don't let this page of history flip over before our eyes.

here is the mind patch , thanks for reading.
