Ethanasia is a permitted and regulated method of suicide in Switzerland. In China, however, euthanasia is currently banned.

So why does China want to ban euthanasia ?
1: At present, China does not have very strict and detailed legal provisions on euthanasia.

This is also agreed by 95% of medical staff, who believe that some patients are simply too painful to live. If euthanasia can be performed, at least the patients can die with dignity without continuing to suffer. And euthanasia doesn't make people feel the same pain as other methods of dying. However, currently does not have 's very strict and detailed legal provisions on euthanasia, and we cannot predict many unknown situations. If euthanasia is allowed, there are many people who may take advantage of the law.
2: From the perspective of Chinese ethics: "filial piety" comes first
Since ancient times, we have been taught to be filial to our elders and parents. Euthanasia is essentially murder. This is contrary to what we have been taught since childhood. I think this is one of the reasons why euthanasia cannot be practiced in China!
Currently, the only countries legalizing euthanasia in the world are Netherlands , Belgium , Switzerland, Luxembourg , Canada and New Zealand and other countries. Among them, Switzerland is the only country in the world that can assist foreigners in euthanasia, so Switzerland has become a holy place for " suicide tourism".
