In 2021, the Archaeological Research Center of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and other units conducted a third investigation of the site and found that the underwater deposits were mainly porcelain and ship hulls, especially within the area of about 300 square meters on both sides of the hull. Porcelains are piled up in piles, and most of them can be restored; this survey also collected nearly 700 sets of specimens, which are rich in utensils, including bowls, cups, plates, washers, goblet and incense burners, as well as large plates with dragon patterns and Pisces wash, etc.

Recently, the Archaeological Research Center of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage organized a number of scholars in domestic shipbuilding history, overseas trade history, ceramic archaeology, etc. to conduct expert consultation on the excavation of the site.

Shen Yueming, professor of , Department of Cultural Relics and Museology, Fudan University: Similar to staff , this may be more clear, there are five lines, and this one (with a short slash) is doubled, so this is a typical Yuan Dynasty feature.

The "stave" mentioned by Professor Shen Yueming is usually located under the outer edge of the porcelain belly. Five horizontal lines run through the periphery of the outer abdomen, and three short slashes similar to musical notes are added. The shape and spirit are similar, and the "staff pattern" becomes The common name given by experts and scholars to such patterns on porcelain. In addition to these two goblets, many celadon bowls collected during the underwater investigation stage are also decorated with staves.

In addition, there are double clematis petal patterns on the outer abdomen of bowls, plates, washing machines and other utensils. In the opinion of experts, this also has typical characteristics of the times.

According to reports, the official archaeological excavation will be fully launched in early September this year.
