Canadian developer Virtro has released an upgraded version of the zombie doughnut called "Candy Apocalypse".

Earlier this year, Vancouver-based developer Virtro released an upgraded version of the zombie shooting game "Zombie Donuts" on Samsung Gear VR as part of the Halloween celebrations.

introduces two new characters, the pirate chief John Zombie and the mini donut zombie bit. The environment of "Candy Apocalypse" has been updated, and the tutorial mode has also been updated. The levels have been rebalanced to make players more fair.

In addition, new animation clips have been added, including Donut Dancer Michael Jackson’s famous "trembling" dance steps. The soundtrack has been updated, and the developers say it now sounds more like a moan of a zombie. The

developers listened to the opinions of the players and introduced a new system to improve the feedback effect of the players when they hit the target. Faye Maidment, the marketing staff of

ViTro, said, “I will not whitewash peace. You need to use your wisdom to break all the pastries.”

“Zombie Donuts is not only a great experience for VR novices. And it is very competitive." Jordan Brighton’s CEO and CTO said, "As donuts spread all over Candilan, blowing up all the mean donuts, especially the little zombies, becomes even more challenging. It’s sex."

Virtro is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada and was founded by Australian developers Jordan and Lee Brighton. The purpose is to use the combination of video game mechanics, storytelling and artistic design to create a VR world that everyone can enjoy.

"Zombie Donuts" is now available on Oculus Go, Samsung Gear VR, Google Cardboard and Google Daydream.
