It was determined that the maturity period was in late September, and the four varieties of Datao, Guyan, Pengxian 15, Taowang 99, and Laishan Mi, which had good quality and well-shaped fruit, were "National Day Peach". The
orchard has been set and the varieties have been set. How to ensure that the selected peach orchards can successfully produce national peaches that meet the standards has become a problem for the District Agriculture and Rural Bureau and the Fruit Office.
"We have formulated the'Pinggu National Peach' all-element management and control manual, which lists nearly 100 key production techniques from six aspects of the whole process of large peach production, including winter plastic pruning, fine flower and fruit management, soil, fertilizer and water management. This production standard requires repeated demonstrations and explorations on the existing management and control technology to ensure the quality of big peaches.” Hu Baowang cited an example to reporters, “For example, in order to guarantee the requirement of '70' on big peaches, we experienced 6 times.
