-The naval aviation in the Eastern Theater Command held the first colonel promotion ceremony. A small note
warmed by the spring breeze and rejuvenated the earth.
On the morning of March 16th, the Eastern Theater Naval Air Force held a grand promotion ceremony for the rank of colonel in the amphitheater. The ceremony was presided over by Liang Xu, deputy commander of the Eastern Theater Naval Aviation. More than 200 members of the Eastern Theater Naval Aviation's home party committee members, leaders of various ministries, government officials, detachment officers and soldiers, and promoted officers and their relatives participated.
On February 11, 2018, the Eastern Theater Naval Party Committee researched and approved that 3 officers of the Eastern Theater Naval Air Force were promoted to the rank of colonel and 19 officers were promoted to the rank of professional and technical colonel.
At 9 o'clock in the morning, the ceremony began in the solemn sound of the national anthem. Wang Zaichun, deputy political commissar of the Eastern Theater Navy and political commissar of the Eastern Theater Naval Air Force, read out the theater naval order and issued a letter of command to the promoted officer. The 22 promoted officers stepped onto the rostrum in succession in their uniforms and vigor, accepting applause and congratulations from the officers and soldiers on the scene.
