The Kuomintang has reported that Jiang Wanan intends to run for the mayor of Taipei. People from all camps have taken the initiative. ETtoday will conduct a survey of the 2022 Taipei mayor candidates for Taipei citizens over 18 years of age from September 1 to 2. The survey results show that in the blue camp, the citizens of Taipei most support Jiang Wanan; in the green camp, the citizens of Taipei most support Chen Shizhong. Comparing Luo Zhiqiang in the blue camp with Jiang Wanan, 42.5% of Taipei citizens support Jiang Wanan and 12.5% of Luo Zhiqiang's support, and 45% of the people who say "do not support" and who do not express their views.
There are many candidates in the DPP. The poll results show that among the green camp Chen Shizhong and Lin Youchang, Chen Shizhong's support is 38.3%, and Lin Youchang's support is 13.2%, indicating that they "do not support" and do not express their opinions. The public also has 48.5%.
If the mayor of Taipei in 2022 will be due to Jiang Wanan and Chen Shizhong in a blue-green match, Jiang Wanan beats Chen Shizhong's support by 43.7% with 39.1%, and the gap between the two is 4.6 percentage points.
However, if Huang Shanshan represents the Taiwan People’s Party and Huang Guochang, who is the power of the times, joins the war, the support of Jiang Wan’an will drop from 43.7% to 37.4%, a decrease of 6.3%; Chen Shizhong’s support will drop from 39.1% to 35.1, a decrease of 4 %, the support gap between Jiang Wanan and Chen Shizhong narrowed to 2.3%, and the election battle between the two fell into a stalemate.
If the mayor of Taipei in 2022 is a blue-green match between Jiang Wanan and Lin Youchang, Jiang Wanan will surpass Lin Youchang's support by 51.2% with 25.9%, and the gap between the two is 25.3%. If Huang Shanshan and Huang Guochang join the battle, Jiang Wanan will still surpass Lin Youchang's 21.8% support with 40.4%, and the gap between the two is 18.6 percentage points.
If the mayor of Taipei in 2022 is duel between Luo Zhiqiang and Chen Shizhong in blue and green, Chen Shizhong's support rate of 48.3% surpasses Luo Zhiqiang's support rate of 28.5%, and the gap between the two is 19.8%. If Huang Shanshan and Huang Guochang join the battle, Chen Shizhong still surpasses Luo Zhiqiang's 23.8% support with 39.3%, and the gap between the two is 15.5 percentage points.
TVBS polls pointed out that if Jiang Wanan is against Wu Yinong who is a member of the Democratic Progressive Party, the rate is 57% vs. 32%.
