"Blue Line of Defense" is a personal record of all officers and soldiers of the Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion going to South Sudan. After five years (2015-2019) tracking and shooting, across China and the African continent, it truly shows my country’s first integrated peacekeeping infantry battalion. During the peacekeeping mission in South Sudan, the story of protecting the safety of local refugee camps amidst the flames of war. As the youngest country in the world, South Sudan was shrouded by the cloud of war and plunged into a dark moment in 2016. The tribal conflicts continued to deteriorate. The fierce armed conflict caused a large number of casualties, and the entire United Nations refugee camp was under cross fire and a large number of shells. Falling into the UN camp, a life-and-death crisis is looming.
