Xu Ting-ning recently liked a post on Instagram, and the content actually mentioned, "A six sons are full of explosions. At this time, we suddenly burst into patriotism. The words "from Taiwan and Taiwan" immediately caused dissatisfaction among many netizens.

Note: A Liuzai, the six characters refer to the Chinese character for land. Some people in Taiwan will refer to mainlanders as Ah Liu Zai.

Immediately Terry Xu’s IG account was swiped by a large number of messages, and the boycott continued to rise.

Regarding this, Terry Xu also posted an apology on Weibo at 2 in the morning and quickly apologized and said: “There are families on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. No matter where I go, I have a sense of belonging.”

In a long post on Weibo, Terry Xu wrote: "I just found out that I made a very stupid mistake."

then began to explain the reason for likes: "Usually on Instagram I’m used to looking at pictures, but I don’t read the text carefully. This time I just look at the pictures and I habitually like it. It’s not a hand slippery, it’s not an assistant’s mistake, and it’s not a hacker. Mouth, I usually hate such remarks the most. Now I am so stupid to like it. I must apologize to the public for my stupid behavior. I'm sorry."

Finally Xu Ting also said: "I have always said publicly that my ancestral home is in Wuhu, Anhui, China. Now my family has moved to Nanjing. Not only did I go back to find my roots, but I also cherish it. The feeling of being at home, from childhood to adulthood, mixed-race people need more identity and a sense of belonging than others.” After the

long post, Xu Ting shut down her IG account to keep herself vigilant and apologize.

Many times some people will ridicule netizens for being too sensitive to this kind of remarks, but on this issue, there is no room for compromise. If they are not sensitive enough, they may be regarded as a tacit fact.
