US Open released more event details

Yesterday, the US Open announced more details about this year's event. There will be no qualifying rounds for the US Open this year. The singles main draw will still maintain 128 seats, but the doubles main draw will be reduced from 64 to 32 seats. To this end, the United States Tennis Association will provide 6.6 million US dollars in subsidies to ATP and WTA, and it is up to ATP and WTA to decide whether to use this part of the funds to host alternative games to make up for players who are unable to participate in the qualifying matches and cause ranking losses.

The two major tennis organizations adjusted the calendar

After the U.S. Open has confirmed that it will be held as scheduled, the ATP has announced that the U.S. Open will be held from August 31 to September 7 and the French Open will be held from September 27 to October 5, starting from August 14, including The calendar of 5 events including 3 Masters, and said that the 41st to 46th week of this year's calendar will be released in mid-July. The WTA event will restart in Palermo, Italy on August 3 and will continue until December 20.

In the new calendar released by the WTA, this year's China Open will be held from October 12th to 18th, avoiding conflicts with the French Open that was postponed to the end of September. The Wuhan Open, which has also been delayed by the French Open, has also changed its previous practice before the China Open. This year's race will be held from October 19th to 25th. The WTA year-end finals in Shenzhen will be held from November 8th to 15th, one week after the original date.
