In the 1980s, Chen Musheng joined the Hong Kong Radio Television Station. In 1983, he became the assistant director of Du Qifeng . In 1990, he directed the first film "If there is love in the sky", which attracted attention after it was released; in 1996, he directed and produced the action film " Stormtroopers are angry on the streets", was nominated for Best Director at the 16th Hong Kong Film Awards.
