According to the Hong Kong China Assessment Service, Hao Baicun, the former head of the administrative department in Taiwan and the former vice chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, passed away on March 30. He lived at the age of 101. He went to death this morning and was buried in the special honor area of the Wuzhishan "National Army" Demonstration Cemetery. The eldest son of Hao Bai Village, Hao Longbin, dressed in a black robe and holding a cross full of white flowers, looked sad to see off his father. The military sent off as a "general of the first class" military salute.
Hao Bai Village’s funeral was quite low-key. Although many friends expressed concern, Hao Longbin decided to follow his father’s wishes without involving too many friends.
Hao Bo Village was born in Haorong Village, Yancheng County, Jiangsu Province in 1919. After Lee Teng-hui took office in 1988, he was first promoted to "Minister of Defense" in 1989, and then became "President of the Executive Yuan" on June 1, 1990. In 1995, he withdrew from the Kuomintang and became Lin Yanggang's deputy partner. "Lin Haopei" went into the 1996 "general election" as a non-party candidate and lost the election. The Chinese Kuomintang took the initiative to restore Hao Baicun’s party membership in 2005 and appointed him as the chairman of the presidium of the Central Appraisal Committee.
