Comrade Xie Yuan, male, was born in Beijing on June 17, 1959. He is a teacher and famous actor at the Academy of Performing Arts of Beijing Film Academy. He was a member of the Haidian District CPPCC.
From 1967 to 1978, he studied at Chengfu Elementary School and Tsinghua Park Middle School. In 1978, he was admitted to the Beijing Film Academy and became the first undergraduate of the acting department after the resumption of the college entrance examination. After graduating in 1982 and staying as a teacher, he successively served as a full-time teacher in the 85 performance classes, 87 performance classes, 88 performance classes, 89 performance classes, and 95 performance classes.
Teacher Xie Yuan has done a lot of artistic creation outside of teaching, and is a famous domestic film actor. He has portrayed distinctive characters in many film and television works and is one of the important representatives of the new Chinese film renaissance period.
