can, I am honored. I have no religious beliefs. Of course, I will burn paper and kowtow just like everyone else during New Year's and holidays.
This is a folk custom. Miss Liu, after reading your traditional Chinese characters, I feel that there is no barrier to communication. What do you think of the simplified characters in mainland China?
I have no obstacles to reading simplified characters. My ancestors have wise allusions in making characters. I have learned this in Taiwanese middle school. Pictograms, instructions, transfer notes, pictophony, knowing, and false borrowings. Every word has its allusion and origin, but in simplified form, for example, there is no more heart and no intention under love. Is it still called love? I can't explain it. So I think simplified characters are just convenient for writing. If I have children, I still hope that they can learn traditional characters. And those of us who know traditional characters have no difficulty seeing simplified characters at all! I just can't write it.
As everyone knows, Ms. Liu is a very patriotic entertainer. In the muddy wave of Taiwan independence forces, she dared to make a firm statement: I am a Chinese. We all deeply admire this. Excuse me, what was your education like when you were a child? How was your family situation? How did your family give you a patriotic education?
I am a Taiwanese from the four provinces of my grandfather Hubei, grandma Jiangsu, grandpa Anhui, and grandma Zhejiang. Le Yan, I grew up and changed her name. My real name is difficult to write and read. It is a place name in Hubei Province. Since I was young, people have asked me: How do you pronounce your name? Why did you take this word? So rare! I have to answer once: Because I am from Hubei, there is a county in Hubei called Pang County, so my name is Pang Ting. I have been talking about this self-introduction for more than 20 years since I was a child. I have spoken this way in Taiwan in front of Hubei people who have never been to Hubei.

I am completely schizophrenic, I really think I am both! My grandfather taught me this way since I was young! I am from Hubei, China! Did I live such a big life and suddenly asked, can’t I admit that I am a Chinese from Hubei? I guess it’s my grandpa who was the first to jump up and shoot the table and turn his face over.
It is difficult for my grandparents to teach me homework, because they don't know much about Chinese characters, they only know the north, south, east and west of mahjong. I don't like to read. I am a child raised up in a single parent family, and I feel like a bomb everywhere. My grandma only calls me. You must be polite, righteous, honest, and shameful, and you must not waste food. It's probably like this. In my house, there will never be any leftovers! There will not be any soup being poured out, because my grandpa, as long as the vegetable soup is mixed with white rice and a few peanuts, he can eat it. Our family will never have a drop of wasted food. I am a chef with a chef’s license in Taiwan. Although I do not do very well, I have a license. A chef can not only cook, but also can’t waste food. Every time I see food waste in mainland China. It is far more serious than Taiwan, to be honest, I can't accept it!
Qin Shihuang’s "books with texts" created the same origin of Chinese culture, and the cultures of Taiwan and the mainland are inseparable. Has Miss Liu read the traditional classics about Chinese culture? Of course there is, maybe not all of them, but the Analects, Shiji and Hu Shi's books will all be intercepted and used as Chinese textbooks for our Taiwan middle school students. When I was in middle school, the teacher asked us to write about the Dream of Red Mansions, Journey to the West, Water Margin, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. As soon as I picked up these books, I fell asleep. When I finally handed in my homework, I was perfunctory. Now think about it. The teacher is right! I will not allow my children to fall asleep in the future, so I have to learn more about China’s excellent traditional culture. I hope that when I have a child, I can read it again with them, otherwise I really can't read this kind of book by myself.
It is said that many artists in Taiwan have religious beliefs?
Mainland China and Taiwan are very different, there are few temples, unlike ours in TaiwanEverywhere. I respect the freedom of religious belief, but I don’t believe in religion. Strictly speaking, I have no religious beliefs. Just like the average Chinese, I joined the crew and organized labor unions to worship in the countryside, and burned papers for ancestors by sweeping tombs during the Qingming Festival. If you have to believe that there are gods in the world, then I would rather believe that there are ghosts in the world, and it is best that everyone becomes a ghost when they die, so that I can see my loved ones again. Of course, I am still an atheist. Chinese, including Taiwanese, have struggled in difficult environments since ancient times. In the most difficult times, they did not rely on God to worship Buddha to overcome the difficulties. In the face of floods and earthquakes, we Taiwanese rebuild our homes with our own hands. . Relying on the sky and the earth is worse than relying on yourself.
I think that an atheist is the most determined, strongest, most moral, and most connotative.
When my grandfather was a child, he told me the story of Dayu’s flood control. In the past, Kyushu flooded, the emperor sent a minister named Dayu to treat the flood. Dayu would not flatter the gods, bend over to the dragon king, and never enter the house for three times. Dredging the rivers with the common people, finally fulfilled the merits. What impressed me even more was the story of Hou Yi shooting the sun. In ancient times, ten suns in the sky scorched the crops to death. The people had no way to survive. A great hero named Hou Yi came out and he set up a bow and arrow. All the nine suns that made trouble in the world were shot down. My grandfather is a tough guy, and our great Chinese are such tough guys. I wandered outside for so many years, suffered a lot, suffered a lot of grievances, every time I encountered difficulties, I thought of grandpa, thought of Dayu, Hou Yi, I gritted my teeth and resisted, and I got through.
Have you participated in any charity activities?
I am willing to participate in any charity activities, and welcome everyone to come to me, but I am very courageous, not dare to donate blood, I am willing to donate eggs. I have seen a gay movie before, called Full Moon Wine, and I am very touched. If there are gay men or infertile couples who need eggs, I am willing to donate them. I saved 17 eggs at Taipei Medical College as early as the doctor said. I picked them up early. The eggs are young and can survive at least half of them. I only want to have one or two children in the future, so there are many more to donate. I want to help. Other people in need.
I like children and puppies. As I grow older, I find that I often don’t understand human speech, and it’s difficult to understand human speech. Maybe the other person is too knowledgeable and I didn’t read, so I don’t understand. It is also possible that there is something in the other party's words, which is not the meaning, and I can't understand it either. But I am proficient in doggy language! I can communicate with every dog in the world. If I can make money, I want to do something for the puppy. First of all, I want to open a "Liu Leyan Dogs, Cats, and Small Animal Hospitals". I want to hire doctors and nurses. , Treat all the poor little animals, and then if there is a pet shop next to the veterinary hospital I opened, I will treat these poor little animals cleanly and put them on the window display, strictly screen the adopters, the ones in my shop Little animals are only given away, not for sale, I want to help them find a happy home!
Of course, all of this requires me to become red and earn money first. Only if I earn money first can I be a happy loser! I want to be a happy loser for the little animals, I am willing. I don't like donating money to charities, because I don't know where my hard-earned money is used by charities. It feels bad.
I have no religious beliefs, but I am very active in participating in charity. Having no religious belief does not mean that there is no kindness, let alone lack of responsibility, do you think?
I love small animals, and I also support the two sides of the strait as a family and live in harmony.

has no other work to do except for the three songs that were originally scheduled for the Mid-Autumn Festival commercial performance. I am still thinking about it. I have always been a simple person with no ideals, no ambitions. As long as I can sing and act happily, I am very happy. Many places have insufficient budget and can't afford big celebrities like Jolin Tsai, but I can, I go, as long as I can do this, I will be very happy. I just simply like my work.
Do you know any Chinese scientists?
I know that there is a Dr. Li Yuanzhe in Taiwan, and I also know that a professor named Shi Yigong in the Mainland is very famous. I don't know his research very well, but I know that he wins glory for the Chinese and Taiwanese people are also very concerned about his achievements.
I also want my children to do scientific research to benefit mankind.
