On the 5th, Big Hit reported in the company briefing for the first half of 2020: Based on South Korea’s adoption of the International Accounting Standards (K-IFRS), Big Hit’s consolidated sales last year was 587.9 billion won, and its consolidated operating profit was 97.5 billion won (tentative performance before external audit). And there was a new message of "Big Hit Multi Label". Deputy Representative Choi Yunhyuk said: "The K-POP culture system will be transplanted to the global market. The first plan is: a boy group composed of teenagers from many countries will debut within this year." Previously, in March last year, Big Hit and CJ ENM had established a cooperative legal entity Belift in order to launch a new boy group.

In addition, through the project "Plus Global Audition", a collaboration between Source Music representatives and Min Heezhen Brand Manager (CBO), they formed a girl group expected to debut next year. Big Hit's Tomorrow X Together launched last year will be on a world tour, and a new boy group will be launched in 2022.
