Beethoven was born in 1770. People thought he was deaf in 1814, but he still ruled out all difficulties in composing until his death in 1827 at the age of 56. After Beethoven was hearing impaired, he began to carry notebooks and communicate with others by writing. The musicology professor Theodore Albrecht found in Beethoven's notebook 23 paragraphs about his hearing problems. After reading Albrecht, he speculated that when Beethoven was composing Symphony No. 9 and for at least two years after completing the composition, he still had hearing, but the situation was getting worse. mentioned that when Beethoven visited a coffee shop in 1823, a stranger asked him how to slow down his hearing loss. Beethoven wrote that bathing and the air in the suburbs can improve many problems. Beethoven's notebook
Albrecht is still editing Beethoven's notebook and is translating its German content into English. He believes there will be more content citing that Beethoven is not entirely deaf. However, he emphasized that even if Beethoven is not completely deaf, he is still a man who is struggling to accomplish his goals in a difficult situation.
