"Tomb Raiders Notes" sparks disputes, Huanrui Century seeks millions of compensation from Nanpai Sanshu

Xu Lei (pseudo name) Sanshu Nanpai) copyright licensing contract dispute. Huanrui Century signed a contract with Nanpai Sanshu in 2013, agreeing to exclusively license the adaptation of the novel "Tomb Notes (1-9 volumes)" to its use for 6 years, such as completing the adaptation of the first season of the TV series within 6 years and obtaining the "domestic TV series" "Issuing License", the license period for the right of adaptation is extended for four years. In 2019, Nanpai Sanshu sent a letter stating that the contract expired that year. Huanrui Century believes that it breached the contract and claimed for economic losses of 1 million yuan.
