On the afternoon of September 28, the 2024 Hunan Provincial Village Chef Competition Audition Wulingyuan Station and Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Chef King Competition were held at the Sign Gate Square of Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie. 18 teams of village chefs from Wulingyuan District of Zhangjiajie conducted a fierce cooking competition on the spot. event, Zhang Shupeng, "China's first wingsuit pilot", transformed into a "high-altitude food messenger" and jumped 800 meters from the top of Kunpeng in Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie to deliver food grown on the cliff for the Wulingyuan Village Chef Competition. Hunan cuisine master Xu Juyun made fried pork with chili, demonstrating his sixty years of exquisite Hunan cuisine skills. It was extremely popular and attracted the attention of the audience. The village chefs from Wulingyuan showed off their eighteen cooking skills of stir-frying, stewing, frying, steaming and boiling, and carefully prepared nearly 50 rural delicacies with excellent color, fragrance and flavor.
