On the evening of the 20th, the Fujian Opera Art Street of Luoyuan Xiwei Street was officially opened, and the original large-scale immersive Fujian opera "The Moon Shines on the River End, Full of Blessings in Luoyuan" premiered. From the streets of Xiwei Street to the "Wind and Rain Corridor", the entire street has become a performance stage, recreating the bustling scene of the "Caoqiao Night Market" in Xiwei Street in the past, integrating ancient and modern times, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the performance.

It is reported that "The Moon Shines on the End of the Stream, Full of Blessings" is planned by Zhou Hong, director of the Provincial Experimental Fujian Theater, with deputy director Lin Jie as the chief director and young director Lin Beilong as the director. The script is written by Lin Jie and Co-created by young screenwriter Zhao Le. The story begins with Cao Xuequan, the originator of Fujian opera, and his friend Xu Xinggong accidentally traveling to Xiwei Street in Luoyuan 400 years in the future, and their beautiful encounter with a She ethnic minority girl, a modern Fujian opera actor, weaving a story of cultural exchange across time and space. The performance cleverly combines beautiful and moving classical dance, fashionable and dynamic pop music, melodious guzheng performance with Fujian rhyme singing "Lychee Sigh", traditional Fujian opera excerpts "Lychee for Crimson Peach·Touch Li" and "Double Butterfly Fan·Remembering Two Butterflies" ” and the excerpts from “The Legend of White Snake” and “Yishun Gezhudi Matchmaking” are comprehensive and exciting.

Different from traditional Fujian opera, this immersive Fujian opera performance gives the audience a brand new experience in terms of story creation and presentation. The performance organically integrates the Fujian opera stage with the historical buildings and outdoor scenes in the neighborhood, allowing visitors to experience the artistic charm of Fujian opera immersively and up close.
