In the blink of an eye, it is the autumn of 2024. Jinan photography enthusiast Zhang Qianjin came to the "Qunying Aqueduct" in the southern mountainous area of ​​​​Jinan to take pictures of the starry sky.

In 1975, in order to solve the problems of drinking water and farmland irrigation for the people in Liubu area, thousands of masons and strong workers from 60 nearby villages spent nearly two years building a 24.8-kilometer-long aqueduct.

As can be seen from Zhang Qianjin’s photography, the "Qunying Aqueduct" is located in Xishan Village. The bridge arch above the canyon is divided into two layers. The upper layer is the bridge deck, and the lower layer is an overhead water tank connected to the water channel at both ends. Under the beautiful night sky, behind the Qunying Aqueduct is the dazzling Milky Way.

It is not easy to shoot a satisfactory set of "Galaxy works". "It's difficult to take photos of the Milky Way in urban areas, so I came to the southern mountainous area. Perfect starry sky photography requires a clear sky. When shooting late at night, one shot lasts all night," Zhang Jinjin said.

Simultaneous starry sky photography is different from other photography in that the shooting time basically needs to wait until midnight to shoot, and you need to wait for the right time to shoot the Milky Way. "Although it looks like a few pictures, in fact I took hundreds of pictures." Although it is very tiring to shoot the starry sky, I am still very happy to have better works. “When I have time in the future, I will continue to take pictures of Jinan’s starry sky and record the beauty of Quancheng from different perspectives.”
