According to the China Film Directors Association, at 12:33 on August 28, the former first-level director of Beijing Film Studio, former president of the China Children and Youth Film Society, one of the representatives of China’s fourth generation of directors, and the China Film Association Director Wang Junzheng, a member of the China Film Directors Association, died of a sudden illness in Beijing. All colleagues of the China Film Directors Association were surprised to hear the sad news and expressed their deep sorrow.
Wang Junzheng, born on November 11, 1945 in Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, is a female director and screenwriter from Mainland China. She graduated from Beijing Film Academy. In 1980, Wang Junzheng independently directed his first film " Miaomiao ". The film won the Outstanding Film Award of the Ministry of Culture of China and the Special Award of the 1st China Golden Rooster Award. In 1982, he wrote and directed the feature film "Yingshenggege", which won the Outstanding Film Award from the Ministry of Culture of China. In 1987, the feature film "The First Woman in the Forest" directed by him was released. In 1992, he directed the children's film " Heaven Replies to ", which won the International Youth and Children's Film and Television Center Award at the 43rd Berlin International Film Festival and the Best Feature Film Award at the 10th Chicago Children's Festival in the United States. In 2000, he directed the feature film "Falling in Love with the New Century". In 2002, the family children's film "That Time of Your Life" directed by him was released.

"Reply from Heaven" tells the story of a retired postman grandfather and his grandson Chenchen who depended on each other for life. However, after Chenchen's mother returned to China, the conflict between the three generations occurred due to different parenting concepts.
