The Zizi Tower is a place used to burn paper with written characters on it. It embodies the ancients’ concept of “respecting the paper with written characters” and is also a treasure check-in place in Changsha. It is reported that the Xi Zi Pagoda was built in the 18th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1838) and has gone through many vicissitudes. In the 26th year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1900), the top of the tower was unfortunately damaged by lightning, and a hackberry tree grew out. Over the past 120 years, this sapling has grown vigorously, forming a rare coexistence of pagodas and trees in the world. It is worth mentioning that there are currently only eight known wonders of the symbiosis of towers and trees in the world. For this reason, the Xizi Pagoda has been listed as a cultural relics protection unit in Changsha City and a cultural relics protection unit in Hunan Province.
Netizens from all over the world were shocked by the Changsha Xizi Tower and commented: "This is a masterpiece of nature's miraculous craftsmanship!" "It's really impressive!" Through the video, netizens from all over the world not only appreciate the ancient oriental architecture. It has a unique charm, and at the same time, it also deeply feels the uncanny craftsmanship of nature and the tenacity of plant life.
