Recently, Jolin Tsai’s ugly beauty concert concluded successfully in Xiamen. From 2023 to 2024, she will conduct a 25-city tour and present 40 wonderful stages, bringing the concept of "weird beauty" to more fans. Over the past two years, she has continued to prepare surprises, updated her dazzling looks, added special tracks to her playlist, and had a sincere dialogue with her fans. At the same time, she experiences the food and culture of different cities, and collaborates with multiple brands for charity to spread warmth.
When looking back in time and returning to the moment when Wei Mei set off in 2019, she could not imagine that this journey would accompany everyone for so long, so long that it would span five years and sing 63 Wei Mei parties with everyone. When the graduation ceremony finally came, she sighed: "Thank you for the tempering of time, allowing us to face our own fears and reconcile with ourselves. Please remember that you are the most beautiful. Ugly beauty will not disappear because it ends. It will always exist in our hearts."
On the first day of the final concert, Jolin Tsai wore a new style of pale pink rose suit, shining under the starlight, which instantly caused the fans in the audience to shout. On the second day of the finale, she specially prepared surprise songs such as "Good Cat" and "Zhiming and Chunjiao", hoping to fulfill fans' wishes. As the performance came to an end, the fans choked up uncontrollably, and the atmosphere of farewell permeated the entire venue. To everyone's surprise, Jolin Tsai returned to the stage wearing a costume with the words "ugly beauty". She sang "good-bye" to tell everyone about every scene they had experienced together during this journey, and also said goodbye to everyone.
In 2019, Jolin Tsai invites everyone to embark on the path of pursuing the inner hero. In 2023, she will bring strange beauty to Guangzhou. This time, she brought her growth and thinking along the way to express her bravery through singing. A large number of fans came from all over the world to join this journey of self-discovery. In the past two years, she has been thinking about how to return the love of her fans. She enriches her live looks and uses clothes to express her inner thoughts. The "Glass Butterfly", "Golden Queen", "Snow White Cake Dress" and other styles are all deeply loved by fans. At the same time, she added new songs to the playlist. Songs such as "I", "Small Wound", "Dancing Only", "Peach Blossom Land", etc. were highly praised by fans, and the audience sang in unison as soon as she opened her mouth. By the end of the 2024 concert, there have been far more than 40 sets of strange and beautiful stage styles, 50 surprise songs, and 63 audio-visual feasts in five years.
Jolin Tsai will also set aside time at each concert to communicate with fans, respond to letters and talk about her own feelings. Every story she told in the letter gave her new thoughts, and she felt the same worries and troubles. She sighed: "We have met many strange souls here, but we have similar stories. Jolin Tsai has always paid attention to public welfare. In 2017, she funded the Love Decibel Charity Foundation to help hearing-impaired children receive cochlear implants. She met the boy's family again in Luoyang after seven years. She was very pleased that the family's life had improved because of cochlear implants. In addition, she also walked into the Palm Coffee Shop and experienced blind brewing coffee under the guidance of a visually impaired person. Since then, she has gained some understanding of the plight faced by the visually impaired and developed a preliminary understanding of guide dogs. When she subsequently came to the guide dog center, she was even more moved and deeply touched. During the 2023 concert in Shenzhen, she met with the founder of Aidafu Charity Dumpling Shop to learn about rare diseases. A year later, she visited these old friends again and made dumplings with them, letting the love continue to extend. She also entered the world of autistic children, taking classes with the "Children of the Stars" at the Lingxing Community Service Center, and singing warmly with the "Heart Youth" band. She hopes that everyone can pay attention to these people in need and also provide them with warmth.
