That night, Vasily Petrenko joined hands with the phenomenally talented violinist Chen Rui and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to weave a soul-stirring symphonic feast, realizing a dazzling fusion of Chinese and Western music culture in Jiangcheng.
The concert opened magnificently with the "Mulan Psalm" collection, praising Chinese culture and national spirit. Chen Rui's exquisite violin skills lead Erich Wolfgang Korngold's "Violin Concerto in D major", which combines romanticism with the charm of film music. In the second half, the "Arabian Nights" suite takes people into a fantasy world full of moving charm.
